11月19日，PES-Architects上海分公司合伙人、中国发展总监优睿·埃斯科拉（Jyri Eskola）先生参加了“成都·芬兰周：中国（成都）——芬兰设计沙龙”。 “成都·芬兰周”由成都市人民政府外事办公室和芬兰驻华大使馆主办。

 

 

设计沙龙以“重塑生活边界”为主题，旨在促进中芬建筑师和设计师之间的交流。芬兰驻华大使明凯阁下在活动上致辞。

 

 

埃斯科拉先生与其他芬兰和成都本地的资深或新锐设计师一同受邀，分享了设计案例，讨论了设计如何从多维度影响人们的生活方式，以及设计师将如何在可持续发展的理念下开展工作。

 

埃斯科拉先生介绍了芬兰设计与自然之间的密切联系，以及PES-Architects如何专注探索并成功地运用当地材料、融合当地文化于中国的项目中。

 

 

PES-Architects在成都的项目有2017年建成的成都ICON云端塔。PES期待有更多机会能够将芬兰设计带到蓉城。

 

 

 

PES-Shanghai Partner Attended Chengdu-Finland Week

 

On November 19, Mr. Jyri Eskola, partner and China Development Director of PES-Architects Shanghai attended Chengdu-Finland Week: China (Chengdu)-Finland Design Salon. Chengdu-Finland Week was hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chengdu Municipal People's Government and the Embassy of Finland in China.

 

The Design Salon was held to facilitate communication between Chinese and Finnish architects and designers with the theme of ‘design reshaping the boundaries of life’. The event was opened by a speech delivered by His Excellency Mikko Kinnunen, the Finnish Ambassador to China.

 

Mr. Eskola, along with other experienced and emerging designers from Finland and Chengdu were invited to share design cases, discuss how design influences people’s lifestyle from different dimensions, and how designers could work with sustainable development concepts.

 

Mr. Eskola introduced the close relationships between Finnish design and nature, and how PES-Architects focused on, and managed to utilize local materials and explore local culture in its projects in China.

 

Projects of PES-Architects in Chengdu include the Chengdu ICON Tower built in 2017. PES-Architects looks forward to more opportunities to bring Finnish design to Chengdu.
