青岛是一座以海洋文化闻名的美丽城市。设计从海洋生物的生态系统中获得灵感，创造出与其理念相似的建筑方案。设计灵感来自于珊瑚礁共生群落的形成过程，及其为有机体提供滋养与平台，进而共同得以进化、发展和繁荣的能力。相类似地，卡奥斯新城将为个体、企业、初创公司和各类活动提供了平台，使他们有机会相互碰撞、共同发展和进步。方案既满足了展览中心场地和整个地区的规划要求，又是一个鼓舞人心的设计。

卡奥斯新城以“世界工业互联网创新灯塔”为发展定位，以“工业互联网平台+”思维，建设开放创新策源地、智能制造承载区、宜居宜业生态城，进而推动上合示范区制造业产业集群升级为高端、智能、绿色、共享的全产业生态链，着力引领全国工业互联网创新发展。

项目所处的跃进河的滨水区域，位于卡奥斯新城的转型区，紧密的网格状工业建筑园区与景色优美的河滨公园，及其现代化办公园区在此相遇。本项目为工业发展与科技网络的提供了碰撞的场所，在满足建筑功能的同时，也是上合示范区文化精神的象征。

Qingdao Cosmo Industrial Internet Exhibition Centre

The Qingdao area is known for its beauty and waters. As such, several significant cultural buildings harvest their inspiration from the sea and present an architecture that is inspiring, light and inspiring and mystical as the deep oceans. We found inspiration from the flora and fauna of water and created designs that draw deep parallels to the functional way that these creatures operate. Our proposal simulates the processes of the coral reef that provide a nurturing platform for the organism to evolve, develop and flourish – similarly, our building provides a framework within which companies, individuals, start-ups and events can meet, develop and excel. We feel it presents an inspiring solution for the exhibition center site and the whole area.

With the development orientation of “World Industrial Internet Innovation Lighthouse” and the thinking of “Industrial Internet+”, Chaos New City will build a source of open in- novation, an intelligent manufacturing bearing area, and a livable and livable ecological city, and then promote the upgrading of manufacturing industry clusters in the SCO demonstration area into a high-end, intelligent, green and shared industrial ecological chain, and strive to lead the development of national industrial Internet innovation.

Situated on the waterfront of the Yuejin river, the site of this project is in the transforming zone of the Cosmos new technology area, where the intense industrial urban big-box grid meets the more scenic riverside park and contemporary office area development. The project is positioned at a junction, where supporting functions of the large industry and technology development, meet culture and people.
